Halal Korean food in Singapore

Whether it is army stew, K-BBQ, or hotplates of bulgolgi and bibimbap, Korean food is one of our go-to options when dining out, especially with friends. But while it’s easy to find Korean restaurants in Singapore, Muslim-friendly and halal options can be hard to come by. That’s why we’ve compiled the following 10 halal Korean food places in Singapore for you to check out.

1. Seoul Garden HOTPOT

Seoul Garden has been an OG restaurant offering halal Korean food in Singapore, even before the K-wave hit our nation. At their sister chain Seoul Garden HOTPOT, you can tuck into affordable Korean mains sorted into three main categories: Soup & Stew, Rice & Japchae, and Hot Plate. Highlights include Kimchi Beef Hotpot ($16++), featuring beef short plate slices, mushrooms, rice cakes and more, served in a mini hotpot. The Bulgogi Lamb ($17.90++) is another signature, starring marinated Australian-imported lamb shoulder stir-fried with veggies, doused in a spicy sauce.

From our Seoul Garden HOTPOT review: “Overall, I had a good experience here at Seoul Garden HOTPOT. The food was above my expectations and we were amazed by how affordable and tasty the food here was. The relaxed, casual atmosphere, good food, and impeccable service are definitely reasons why we would come back.”

From our Captain Kim Korean BBQ & Hotpot review: “I can say with absolute certainty that their meats are on point and the stars of the show.
