Creamiest New York Style Chocolate Cheesecake
This is seriously the best creamiest New York Style Chocolate Cheesecake recipe you’ll ever make

Ingredients
- Cheesecake batter:
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate or dark
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 eggs
- 3 – 8 ounce packages of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon espresso instant coffee granules
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Crust:
- 25 chocolate sandwich cookies crushed (middles scraped out)
- 5 tablespoons melted butter
- Toppings and Garnishes are Optional:
- Heavy cream sweetened and whipped
- Mini chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a 9-inch springform pan with cut-out parchment paper to fit then oil spray, cover the bottom with aluminum foil and set that aside.
- Place the cookies in a food processor to make fine crumbs, add the butter.
- Press this down into your prepared springform pan.
- Bake the crust for 7 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool.
- Melt the chocolate with the heavy cream in a microwave-proof bowl stirring every 30-second intervals until smooth and melted. Set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese with sugar and beat using an electric mixer until all lumps are gone and this is smooth around 2 minutes,
- Add eggs, salt, and vanilla, cocoa powder, coffee and beat for 2 more minutes with a mixer.
- Stir in the cooled chocolate mixture.
- Pour this over the crust.
- Set a pan on another rack in the oven with 2 inches of water in it (this helps provide moisture while baking)
- Set the cheesecake on a different rack.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for around 1 hour and 5 minutes or until the center is set but but will still wobble a bit.
- Cool for two hours.
- This cheesecake should be refrigerated at least 6 hours before serving and chilled.
- Serve with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips on top or plain as it is.
