Tortilla chips is one of the most popular chips you could ever make at home. All you need is tortillas and you can make crispy chips easily. I used flour tortillas for this recipe, but you can make corn tortillas too.
Traditionally tortilla chips is fried in oil, but it taste equally delicious and slightly healthier if you bake them.

Tortilla Chips Ingredients
Making tortilla chips at home requires only two ingredients tortillas and oil. I used flour tortillas for this recipe, but you can make corn tortillas too.
Regarding oil, use any flavourless oil for baking. And you can flavour the chips with any of your favorite spice mix. Paprika, sesame seeds, garlic powder, salt and pepper is a good choice.
How to Make Baked Tortilla Chips at Home
- Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
- Take tortilla in a cutting board. Cut into triangles.
- Arrange the cut tortillas on a parchment lined baking tray, drizzle lightly with oil.
- Place it in the baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the tortilla gets slightly golden.
- Remove the tray from oven and let it cool completely. Serve with dip of choice.
How to Make Tortilla Chips (Stepwise Pictures)
1)Take tortillas in a cutting board, I am using flour tortilla, you can use corn or whole wheat tortilla as well.
2)Since this is a big tortilla, I am cut into three parts.
3)Now slice each pieces into triangle like.
4)The two side will be easy to slice into triangles.
5)The middle part, you might need to cut into diagonals to form triangle like shape.
6)Like this.
7)Now the tortillas is sliced into triangles.
8)Arrange the tortilla in a baking tray in one single layer.
9)Drizzle with oil all over the tortilla.
10)Place the tray into the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until light golden in colour. Remove the tortilla from oven and let it cool completely. Serve with dip of choice.
