Easy Chicken Million Dollar Casserole
It is a rich casserole made with shredded or cubed chicken in a creamy sauce named Million Dollar Chicken Casserole because of its hearty flavors.

Ingredients
- 2 boneless shredded or cubed chicken breasts cooked (around 1 1/2 pounds and rotisserie chicken is perfect for this recipe)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1- 8-ounce package of cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs salt and pepper to taste
- Buttery Cracker and Cheese Topping:
- 1 cup crushed cheese crackers any brand buttery crackers
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- pinch of granulated garlic powder and black pepper
- 1 cup of blended extra-sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 4-quart casserole dish with cooking oil spray or butter.
- Whip the cream cheese with an electric beater until smooth.
- On low speed add the soup, herbs, and any other seasoning salt, and pepper to taste.
- Note: for a little heat add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper
- Fold in the chicken.
- Pour into the prepared casserole dish.
- Top with crackers mixed with butter on top.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Cover loosely with parchment paper or cooking oil sprayed foil for the first 15 minutes then remove
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the cheese is melted and it’s bubbling.
