This is an impressive meal to serve to guests but also simple enough to make on a Tuesday night.

What’s in This Chicken Roll Ups Recipe?

  • Spices: Garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper add savory flavor to the chicken.
  • Chicken: I like to buy thinly sliced chicken breasts when they’re available. When I can’t find them, I press regular chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to even thickness.
  • Boursin Cheese: I used classic Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor, but any of the savory flavors will work well.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Adds extra creaminess and helps hold the rolls together.

Notes and Tips

  • If you can’t find Boursin, you can flavor cream cheese with herbs and garlic or more Italian seasoning for a similar flavor and texture.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the rolls to hold together, you can insert toothpicks through them to hold them together as they cook.
