New month, new food! This month, Singapore’s Italian dining scene expands once again with the addition of Sospiri at Central Boulevard.
Located at the newly constructed IOI Central Boulevard Towers, the restaurant offers a range of Southern Italian dishes. After several successful ventures in Singapore, the renowned restaurateur and founder of ilLido Group, Beppe De Vito decided to establish Sospiri, a name inspired by his childhood favourite dessert from Puglia.
The cosy and chic dining area features 128 seats, with a private dining room that accommodates up to 14 guests for intimate gatherings. The rooftop bar, on the other hand, houses 60 seats where guests can enjoy dining and drinking in a relaxed atmosphere.
Helmed by Michelin-starred chef Matteo Ponti, the team is dedicated to serving the true flavours of Southern Italian cuisine. Begin your culinary journey with Battuta di Tonno (S$24), an antipasti featuring bluefin tuna tartare with Amalfi lemon, salmoriglio sauce and Pantelleria capers.
For a hearty meal, consider the Scaloppine al Marsala (S$36), showcasing Mangalica pork loin scaloppine, cardoncelli mushrooms, and Marsala wine sauce. If you’re a seafood lover, the Orata al Limone (S$45) is a must-try— roasted sea bream paired with rapini and Amalfi lemon sauce.
For a more laid-back experience, head to the rooftop bar for drinks and bar snacks. Indulge in a selection of Italian wines, beers, or spirit-forward cocktails. The mixologist’s exceptional craftsmanship is sure to impress. Additionally, Sospiri also plans to feature guest mixologists regularly to introduce fresh and innovative cocktails to the menu.
So, what are you waiting for? Be among the first to visit Sospiri at Central Boulevard!
