5. A Mongolian Tragedy with Mongol Khan
Following a thrilling run at The London Coliseum that got sold-out every night, Mongol Khan is finally making its Asia premiere at Singapore’s Sands Theatre from 17 Oct to 3 Nov 2024.
This large-scale theatrical production, first written by renowned Mongolian writer and poet Lkhagvasuren Bavuu in 1998, has been revived by the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Drama, promising a spectacular blend of song, dance, acrobatics, and even puppetry.
Set in the ancient Mongolian Empire, the storyline revolves around Archug Khan and his struggle to secure the future of his kingdom. Two queens, Tsetser and Gerel, bear sons in quick succession, but suspicions over the paternity of Tsetser’s child throw the royal succession into turmoil.
In a twist of events, Chancellor Egereg’s deceit leads to a secret swap of the princes. This in turn sparks a dramatic and tragic chain of events leading in betrayal, murder, and war. 11. Ink of Hope for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In collaboration with two local tattoo specialists, Jen Tan and Michele Khoo, the event will offer free 3D areola and nipple tattoos to survivors of breast cancer.

As the authorities scramble to cover up the incident, a mysterious trickster emerges, launching his own chaotic investigation.
